As a result of this data our new ward priorities for the period ahead of July/August 2025 are: 1- Anti-Social Behaviour- Focusing on nuisance motorbikes/motor vehicles including at hot spot locations at New Waltham Pavilion/BMX track and across areas on Haverstoe and Humberston- We understand the impact and distress that nuisance motorbikes can cause for the community, and we are committed to tackling this issue. The local team are actively dealing with this issue through working closely with dedicated officers for Operation Yellowfin. We also have other resources available to us which are invaluable, such as working alongside colleagues from Humberside Fire and Rescue to utilise their drone and operators, giving us a much better chance of delivering positive results. S59 driver warnings will be issued and S165 seizures will take place if the vehicle does not have the correct paperwork.
2- Vehicle Crime- Theft From Motor Vehicles- Focusing on hotspot locations in Haverstoe and Humberston especially those frequented by visiting tourists/holiday makers- To reduce residents from becoming a victim of crime through prevention and partnership working. We are focusing on hotspot areas especially those popular with visiting tourists. We encourage all owners to keep their vehicles locked and secure at all times to prevent opportunistic theft.
